2018 SUMMER CAMP PROGRAMS
PIANO SIGHT-READING & DUET/ENSEMBLE CAMP
Your Young Piano Player Can Learn To Play Any Piece Faster and With Other Musicians!

These 2-week camps for ages 10-17 are designed to take student piano skills to the next level in a fun, socially rewarding way, by teaching the basics of playing with other pianists and players of other instruments as well. Students will also learn to better play solo pieces in social settings
where they often don’t have advance notice or weeks to prepare. And since music is meant to be shared – not just practiced alone, participants will be invited to finish the summer by performing in a special “Tea for Two Duet Recital” at Slice of Life. Come experience the joy of making music together!
PREREQUISITE: 6 MONTHS OR MORE PREVIOUS PIANO PLAYING EXPERIENCE (Limited to 20 students)

Kids Will Explore The Culture And Beauty Of Other Countries
In our Semi-Immersion/Cultural Excursion Camps, they will be introduced to the culture and beauty of French and Spanish speaking countries. All in a fun group environment for ages 8-14.
Each camp has 2 sessions, each 1 week long for 2 hours Monday through Friday from 9-11am.
Cost is $135 per session (10hrs)
Space limited to 20 students.
Exploring other languages, cultures, and foods, students will have a blast while expanding their horizons.
Students will:

Creative
Writing/Drama
Camp
Imagine Your Kiddo A Writer, Producer, Or Actor!
Students ages 9-16 will have the opportunity to write a play together, and stage, direct, and rehearse it in this two-week camp.
Then, they will invite all of their friends and loved ones to view their creativity and performance on the evening of the last day of the camp.
Creative Writing Teacher and Actress, Emily Marin, staring performer in many BeeKay theater productions will be helping students to experience the fun and excitement of creating a real production.
Camp lasts two weeks and is 2.5 hours each day, Monday through Friday.
